While many established Bollywood hotties like Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen have long been planning their entry into the international arena, it is newcomer Mallika Sherawat who managed to do it through a Hong Kong action flick called The Myth,which stars Jackie Chan in the lead role. "It is the best international debut anyone can ask for. It's fantastic that I got a chance to work with Jackie as I could prove my capabilities at an international level,กจ the sexy star said. The film, which was launched at the Cannes Film Festival in May this year, made an overnight star out of Mallika who, although appeared only about ten minutes in the film, stole the thunder from Jackie and other co-stars. The film also took Mallika out of Mumbai to Hong Kong, Singapore, Cannes, Toronto and Malaysia to promote the film. Mallika who was in Kuala Lumpur twice recently (first, to promote The Myth in September and second, to shoot her upcoming film Shaadi Se Pehle (co-starring Akshaye Khanna and Suneil Shetty) a month later in various locations in Malaysia) dominated the local press as her stunning glamorous images were splashed across English, Malay, Chinese and Indian tabloids and magazines.
